Ladakh is popularly known as "land of high passes" and is situated in Jammu and Kashmir. This region of Northern India has less population. The pollution free atmosphere with picturesque beauty draws numerous tourists from all over the world to Ladakh. It is well known for its snow capped mountains and rich culture (influenced by Tibetan culture), lush vegetation, exotic wildlife, beautiful flora and fauna and ancient monasteries.

How can reach Ladakh?

Ladakh has two different routes allowing the entry of tourists and visitors, which include Sirnagar-Leh Highway and Leh-Manali Highway. Ladakh can be visited from Kashmir through the Srinagar-Leh highway. This route remains open from the month of May till October or November.

The other route to reach Ladakh is the Manali-Leh Highway, which remains open from the month of June to late October allowing traffic. This route came into existence in 1989. There’s a domestic airport at Leh that connects the city with Delhi.
